What is MyyntiAkatemia?
MyyntiAkatemia is a learning environment at Turku University of Applied Sciences for marketing and sales students. At MyyntiAkatemia, we nurture future top professionals and carry out sales and marketing development projects for companies.

Our Story
The learning environment was founded in 2021 in response to the growing need for sales and marketing support among local SMEs. Encouragement from the business community strengthened the idea that a project-based learning environment could effectively meet this demand.
After four years and eight completed semesters, MyyntiAkatemia has proven to be an excellent way to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience. It has provided students with valuable lessons and opportunities to grow into sales and marketing professionals.

Internal Operations
At MyyntiAkatemia, you will belong to one internal team, work on client projects, and build your own professional portfolio.
There are three internal teams at MyyntiAkatemia: the Sales Team- the the Marketing Team, and the Communications Team
the Sales Team
The Sales Team’s goal is to acquire diverse client projects for the current and upcoming semesters. The team handles the entire sales process from start to finish — prospecting, contacting, client meetings and negotiations, creating proposals, and closing deals.
The marketing team
The Marketing Team focuses on growing MyyntiAkatemia’s visibility and brand among both students and companies. The team produces content, plans campaigns, manages the website, and analyzes marketing data. Main marketing channels include Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
The communications team
The Communications Team takes care of internal communication and works closely with the Marketing Team. It also fosters team spirit, writes project references, and manages student recruitment. The main communication platforms are Instagram and LinkedIn.
Our goal is close collaboration between teams, and your field of study does not limit your team choice — the idea is to gain experience and learn new things!
The workload at MyyntiAkatemia is agreed upon based on your personal study plan, but at least 10 ECTS credits are required. You can complete project studies, elective courses, or an internship. The roles of sales, marketing, or communications manager are particularly suitable for internships. It’s also possible to complete your thesis through MyyntiAkatemia.
Recruitment
Recruitment for spring 2026 will open during the autumn.
At MyyntiAkatemia, you’ll get the chance to work closely with companies on various client projects and contribute to the development of the learning environment. The Sales, Marketing, and Communications teams work in close cooperation — just as they do in the modern working world.
We are looking for motivated students who want to develop their skills and can work well in a team towards common goals. Here, you’ll get to apply what you’ve learned in lectures to real-life situations and gain hands-on professional experience.
