In autumn 2023, six motivated MyyntiAkatemia students worked with UWIS Oy to create a comprehensive 12-month marketing plan. The plan defined goals, target groups, schedules, and budgets, with practical implementation scheduled to begin in spring 2024. ASIAKASTARINA OMASP MyyntiAkatemia carried out a client project for OmaSp (Oma Savings Bank). Originally founded in Töysä, OmaSp began its path of bank mergers in 2007 and has since grown into a widely merged bank offering diverse financial services. In spring 2024, a project team of five MyyntiAkatemia students implemented a project aimed at increasing OmaSp’s visibility and awareness among young people and students. The team set up stands at the Lemppari café on Lemminkäisenkatu, EduCity, and the ICT campus. OmaSp’s staff also participated on several occasions. Both the project team and OmaSp were satisfied with the results.

ASIAKASTARINA PARTNER 4 PEOPLE MyyntiAkatemia carried out a client project for Partner4People Oy, a Turku-based HR service company founded in 2021 that provides professional and reliable long-term services. The project included 3 parts: a competitor analysis, a marketing analysis, and a buyer persona analysis from two different perspectives. The two-month project was successfully completed in December 2022, with active and seamless communication between MyyntiAkatemia and Partner4People Oy. According to CEO Sanna Repo, the external perspective brought by the project was highly valuable for the company. The marketing analysis included a SWOT analysis, and the competitor analysis helped identify strengths and areas for improvement compared to competitors. Repo also noted that discussions with the project team provided inspiration for renewing the company website and offered fresh insights for marketing communication. Repo’s comment on the project:

ASIAKASTARINA PILVIA MyyntiAkatemia carried out a client project for the Turku-based IT company Pilvia Oy in autumn 2024. The project team consisted of four students. The project had two parts: conducting customer satisfaction surveys and new customer acquisition by phone. First, we implemented the satisfaction survey and reviewed the results together. Then, we focused on acquiring new customers and setting up meetings between Pilvia and potential clients. In this project, the MyyntiAkatemia students got to explore a new and interesting field while developing their communication and contact skills. Both Pilvia and MyyntiAkatemia were very satisfied with the results.

ASIAKASTARINA PUNAINEN RISTI MyyntiAkatemia carried out a project for the Finnish Red Cross Kaarina branch (SPR Kaarina). A four-member project team organized a social media training session for the local staff. The session covered the basics of Facebook and Instagram — both for personal use and for creating and advertising through a business profile. ASIAKASTARINA LARIKKA KONSULTOINTI MyyntiAkatemia completed a client project for the Turku-based company Konsultointi Larikka in spring 2024. The project team consisted of five students. The project had two phases: creating a sales process for a new product and customer acquisition. The first phase focused on developing the sales process for a free product, and the second phase involved implementing that process through targeted customer acquisition. MyyntiAkatemia students gained valuable experience in a new and interesting industry and improved their contacting and communication skills. Both Konsultointi Larikka and MyyntiAkatemia were pleased with the outcome. After the project, one team member was commissioned to complete their thesis for Konsultointi Larikka.

ASIAKASTARINA EDEA (ED – DESIGNS) MyyntiAkatemia carried out a client project for EDEA, a design company established in EDEA creates unique services through service design, focusing on users’ needsas well as functional, emotional, and social value. In autumn 2023, a MyyntiAkatemia project group of five students successfully implemented a customer acquisition project that combined email and phone marketing with social media campaign planning. The project was divided into two phases: the first focused on acquiring customers via email and phone, while the second involved planning social media posts for the future. As a result of the team’s skilled work, the company secured two meetings and attracted interest from several potential clients. Client feedback:

ASIAKASTARINA UNICA RESTAURANTS Unica restaurants provide diverse and affordable meals for students and staff at Turku’s higher education institutions, operating in several locations. In autumn 2023, a MyyntiAkatemia team of four students created a marketing campaign plan for Unica Oy. The campaign was designed around the opening of the Puutorin Nurkka café in January 2024. Before designing the campaign, the team developed two buyer personas to define the main target groups. Based on these, they outlined effective marketing strategies. The campaign covered a three-month period, and the team also proposed additional ideas or the future, such as various promotional events.

ASIAKASTARINA VESIVEK In autumn 2024, MyyntiAkatemia carried out a client project for Vesivek, organizing a total of eight stand days at various events and sales points. Two of these took place at the Salo Autumn Fair, and six others were held in the Turku and Raisio areas, for example outside Puuilo and K-Rauta stores. During the project, we were responsible for planning and executing the stand days in line with Vesivek’s values. We worked independently in the field, used the company’smarketing materials and display tables, and ensured active and goal-oriented customer engagement. The collaboration also involved onboarding service providers, coordinating schedules, and managing practical arrangements. The project was carried out as planned, successfully supporting Vesivek’s visibility and providing them with valuable sales- related benefits. The project improved the team’s sales and communication skills, teamwork, and abilityto operate in a customer-oriented way in changing environments. It provided valuablehands-on experience in B2C sales and client representation.
